Volunteer at the Mill Valley Film Festival

The success of the Mill Valley Film Festival depends upon its volunteers' dedication and enthusiasm. Each year our volunteers help us produce an internationally-acclaimed event and enjoy being part of one of Mill Valley's most exciting annual celebrations. It's a great way to get involved, make new friends and see great films!

To Participate

It's easy to get involved! In order to volunteer, you must

• Attend a sign up session
• Commit to a minimum of 12 hours of volunteer work
• Attend volunteer meetings and trainings for your shifts
• Be friendly, enthusiastic and flexible!

Important Dates

• September 14 -15: Volunteer Sign-Ups at the Festival office
  38 Miller Avenue, Mill Valley: 4 - 7pm
• Saturday, September 23: Volunteer Orientation at the Smith Rafael Film Center
  9am - 12 Noon (Includes a free screening of a Festival film!)
• October 5 - 15: Mill Valley Film Festival
• Sunday, October 22: Volunteer Appreciation Party, 2 - 5pm
